Vegas Review #001 - Palms, Moon & LAX
So this weekend was insane. Me a big group of Red Rope girls went to check out the scene.
Friday - We arrived super late, had some car issues on the way down (I think flying is the only way to go). Went to The Bank and then to Drais where we seriously found our 'second wind'.
MOON AND THE PALMS
Saturday we hit up Moon which was packed to capacity. Even for a weekend that wasn't very crowded in Vegas, Moon was not effected by the lull. It was obviously the hot destination and there was a huge line of sexy people waiting to get inside. Playboy Club inside the Palms also has a great vibe and of course all th sexy little bunnies running around. The staff at the Palms is amazing. The VIP hosts will always take care of you. My advice to guys will always be the same - GET A TABLE. If you book in advance, you will get a great spot in the nightclub. Plan ahead and collect money from each guy in your group and GET A TABLE. You will spend less money and time getting a table - don't ever plan to just "wing it" it doesn't really work. Everyone asks me to hook them up on guestlists in Vegas, but honestly if you're a guy, it's no guarantee and you will more than likely spend half your night waiting in line. Take my advice (I'm out every weekend and I'm in Vegas at least once a month) or call me and I'll set everything up for you. If you are a sexy chic, call me anytime and I will have you walked into Moon at the Palms...or anywhere really in Vegas where you want to go. The view is insane at Moon and the dance floor is always full of fun, attractive people dancing. The music is usually awesome there - check out their site for special events and guest appearances. One time we were at Moon Kid Rock was there spinning and MCing.
Staying at the Palms is my first choice so far - the rooms very nice and if you have a little extra cash to spend - the suites are the coolest rooms I've ever seen. When we went to Vegas with Brian Burton from Gnarls Barkley, his first and only choice was the Palms. The showers double as stripper poles with different colored lights shining above you. What about the fact that the TV from the living room slides over to reveal the stripper pole shower show going on live in your room? Another time we stayed at the Palms, we hung out in Jaimie Fox's room which had a pool table entertainment room built in. Palms is Vegas at it's best and I give it 5 stars all around. There's a reason MTV chose The Palms for the VMA's - this is the place in Vegas where you'll feel and be treated like a celebrity. My favorite hosts over at Moon are JRock and Jeff - so if you go there and need bottles, tell them Ari sent you or call me and I'll give your their contact info.

After we checked out Moon, our friends were over at LAX with Wilmer Valderama and Kristen Cavallari. We walked in and the club was packed. The club is set up like a Theater, and the main tables with celebrity hosts are the stage. But the average bottle price at this venue is not quite average. Expect to spend over $500 a bottle with a 3 bottle minimum. However, if you want to spend the money on tables - make sure you get a table 'on stage' - it will be worth it if you're in the mood to feel like royalty. Plus, everytime I've been to LAX I felt surrounded by celebrities. Although - I question whether they are all there by choice. It seems like the new Vegas marketing ploy is to pay high priced celebrities to 'show up' at the club. Usually they are contracted to stay for at least an hour - and it seems this might have been the case with Wilmer Valderama. He stayed at his table in a corner unenthusiastically. This is the 3rd time I've seen Wilmer at LAX, so I'm sure there's some kind of business venture going on. Hey, I make a living from going to nightclubs and I still have a good time! ;) The staff at LAX was great and was actually polite to people at the door trying to get inside. If you're planning to go here, I'd suggest you hit up some of my Red Rope staff so that you're not stuck waiting in line.
